Go Green on March 25
Posted Mar 2, 2022 by Jacquie Robison
March 25th is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day and WAWOS is campaigning to have the White House light up green to raise awareness for CP, the most common childhood physical disability.

You can join our effort by completing a contact form here at the White House website. Not sure what to write in the "What Would You Like To Say" section? Here's some sample copy to consider:

March 25th is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day and green is the awareness color for CP. I'm joining the campaign to have the #WhiteHouseGoGreen to raise awareness of CP, the most common physical disability in childhood.

Your support will mean so much to so many. According to the CDC, 1 in 345 children in the U.S. has CP, with over 17 million adults + children affected worldwide.

It just takes a few minutes and will make a big difference in our campaign. Looking for other ways to support this effort?

-use the image on Instagram and Facebook -- tag @potus @vp and use hashtag #WhiteHouseGoGreen

-share the image on Twitter and let's start trending!

-wear green on March 25th

Together, we can change the narrative around cerebral palsy, increase disability visibility and advocate inclusion.

We got this!
